Glamping comes to campsite and new wet weather room opens

Posted Fri 8th May 2015 at 11:23

Morning glampers... boutique camping has now arrived on Alderney and a bistro style wet weather room is adding to the luxe factor.

Campsite operator Zoe Sowden has taken delivery of three "glamping" tents, bringing a new style of canvas accommodation to the Island.

The tents boast a kingsize bed, a sofa, rugs, hob, fairy lights, and a wood burning stove - perfect for the slightly cooler nights off season.

A ll of the campsite's new facilities are now open for business too - the wet weather room, complete with laundrette and a washing room for dishes, plus wifi, books and games - provides space to chill out during evenings or inclement conditions. There is also a 'field kitchen' - with a cooker and a fridge for campers.
