Discounts are available to advertisers who book a series of 6 or 12 whole page, half page or quarter page advertisements. The adverts must run in consecutive or alternate issues and be paid for in full immediately following publication of the first insertion in the series. Discount rates are 5% for a booking of 6, 10% for a booking of 12.

Submission formats:

Adverts should be in full colour and where possible please supply adverts in one of the following formats:

  • Adobe InDesign CS2 or later
  • EPS
  • PDF
  • at least 300dpi TIFF file (600 preferred)
  • at least 300dpi JPEG file (600 preferred)
  • Word
  • or failing that we can accept Publisher 2000 or 2003 format

The Guernsey Bereavement Service has made three visits to Alderney over the past few months and would like to continue to help you. We are visiting the island again the week beginning 29th June and would invite anyone who feels they would like Bereavement Counselling to telephone the Bereavement Service Office on 257778 to make a time to meet one of our counsellors.

Alderney Week 2010: from 31 July to 8 August, For the 62nd consecutive year, Alderney's biggest annual community and tourism event takes over the island, with some 120 different happenings, from fun competitions, sporting and cultural events to music, entertainment and just plain fun for everybody, whatever their age.
