Policy Committee chairman Paul Arditti has written an open letter to fellow States Members asking that a motion of no confidence against him is dropped in favour of a Code of Conduct inquiry.

AWT appeal on PIB affected seabirds

Alderney Wildlife Trust officers are appealing for people to keep a look out for poorly or dead seabirds after spotting what they believe to be a PIB slick a few miles off Alde' slick' is already thought to have fouled at least three birds, two Guillemots and a Razorbill, and marine wildlife will be at risk for days to come.

Friends and relatives of the submariners who perished on board the Affray in 1951 laid wreaths at a memorial in Alderney on Wednesday.
The Guernsey Bereavement Service has made three visits to Alderney over the past few months and would like to continue to help you. We are visiting the island again on
Tuesday, 24th January and would invite anyone who feels they would like Bereavement Counselling to telephone the Bereavement Service Office on 257778 to make a time to meet one of our counsellors.
