ALDERNEY'S General Services Committee breached a local man's human rights when it ordered him to remove breeze blocks he had laid down to protect his property from cars and pedestrians, a court ruled.

A businessman from Alderney was banned from driving for a year after allowing an employee to use a moped without insurance.

Alderney States member Geoffrey Sargent has been banned from driving for a year after pleading guilty to allowing his daughter to drive while uninsured.
