Posted Tue 1st March 2011 at 15:20

A woman has been arrested and charged in connection with two burglaries in Alderney.

Police say inexpensive items were stolen from properties in High Street and Victoria Street on Thursday afternoon (February 24). Both properties were unlocked, while one was occupied at the time of the burglary.

The woman arrested was described as middle aged by police. She was charged a day after the alleged incidents and will appear in court on Thursday.
