Aurigny has ordered a new 19-seater Dornier 228 from manufacturer RUAG.
The aircraft will be delivered in the autumn of next year.
Mark Darby, the CEO of Aurigny, said: "Our new Dornier 228 is being used extensively on the Alderney, Southampton and Dinard routes and is delivering exactly what we require of it. I'm delighted to confirm that an order for a second Dornier 228 has been placed with RUAG and the delivery of the aircraft next year will enhance our smaller aircraft fleet."
