HSBC expert to help Alderney property buyers save money at mortgage open day
HSBC will be holding a mortgage open day in Alderney on 18th February to help Island customers get a cheaper mortgage and free, personal banking advice.
The event will see Damien Murphy, HSBC Mortgage arranger at the Guernsey St Peter Port branch, visit Alderney to speak to customers about how they can achieve a cheaper mortgage through the Bank. He will be set up under a gazebo outside the Alderney branch on Victoria Street, ready to answer any questions Islanders may have about HSBC mortgages - there will also be tea, coffee and biscuits for anyone who would like to say hello. If people can't make Tuesday the 18th, appointments with Damien will also be available on the 17th and 19th in-branch.
Commenting on the event, Tom Chapman, Retail Branch Manager, HSBC in Alderney said:
"We are so pleased that Damien is coming over again to Alderney to offer his mortgage expertise. It is important that our valued existing and potential Island customers are aware of the fantastic mortgage offering that's available to them - we currently offer the best rates on the Island and want to make sure property buyers are getting the best deal.
"There's no need to book an appointment for the 18th, we look forward to welcoming people on the day, but Damien will have appointments available to book on 17th and 19th in-branch too if needed."
